One of the most comprehensive projects related to this subject has been designed as TUBITAK application. We support the applicability of sports genetic studies for our country by increasing the number of these pioneered studies over time. These studies will not only analyze the relevant genes of successful athletes and investigate their effects on sport activity, but will also lead to the development of a genetic predisposition test panel that can be applied to guide new athletes. These test panels can then be made into panels that can be applied in sports development centers by adding cardiological risk parameters and nutritional genetic parameters ”.
