Chandani DeZure is a board-certified pediatrician and a member of the our site Medical Advisory Board. She is a neonatal and pediatric hospitalist at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, CA.

She specializes in the care of sick newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit and hospitalized pediatric patients in an acute care setting. In addition, she cares for healthy newborns in the well-baby nursery and attends deliveries of high-risk infants that may require assistance at birth.

She is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics in the Department of Neonatology and the Department of Hospital Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.

She received her BS from the University of Chicago and her MD from Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Chicago.

She speaks English, Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi.
